Gisela has been a member of our chorus for nearly 30 years. She has been our Lead Section leader for many years and was also the Lead of the competing quartet “After 8” . Gisela has retired after a long career in a legal office. She is a busy grandmother and still and active skier in the winter months with her family!

Deb has been a member of our chorus for 30 years. She has held many hats over those years. She has been a member of a few quartets including the competing quartet, “Shiraz”. Deb has been a chorus Director and is a past President. Deb is currently a dual member with the Lions Gate Chorus in Vancouver, BC. Presently she is also heading up Membership, Marketing and Website stuff for our chorus.

Maureen has been a member of our chorus for 45 years now! Maureen was our group’s Music Director for over 20 of those years. She has been the talented Tenor of competing quartets including “Shiraz”. Maureen’s many years of commitment to our chorus has been astronomical! Maureen currently is our chorus Secretary and has been keeping up on documents on our chorus’ members website.

We are thrilled to have Gina back in our chorus and now on our Leadership team helping to look after Membership! Gina has a long history with our group as a Music Director many years ago. Her lifelong experiences entertaining with her vocal talents and music leadership in our community are a huge asset for our group. She has led several other singing groups in Kamloops and has recently returned to us! Welcome back Gina!

M-D has been a chorus member for going on 5 years and is an active member Leadership Team. She is vibrant, fun and full of life! Always ready to help where she can! M-D is a retired educator and is bilingual! M-D is an active person out for walks, hikes and skiing whenever she gets the opportunity. She is currently our chorus Treasurer and an invaluable member of our Membership team as well! M-D is a perfect fit for our group!

Our amazingly talented Donna has been with Desert Sounds for over 15 years. She has been a hardworking member of our chorus particularly helping us with our costuming and amazing positive spirit and energy! She is a retired educator and a very involved and busy grandmother of 5 grand-children who live in Australia where she gets to visit them as often as she can manage! We are so grateful for all you do Donna!

This is Erin’s second year with the chorus now, and we are absolutely thrilled to have her on our Leadership Team! Erin sings Lead and is the daughter of one of our long standing members, Joan! Our second generation singer! Erin is a busy mom and works full time. She is a shining creative and efficient force! We are so grateful to welcome her and her expertise to our team! Erin will be assisting with our Social Media accounts to promote our chorus! Welcome aboard Erin!
